A Gardener’s Favorite Kitchen Tools

There is nothing I like better than opening up a jar, or a bag, of fruit or veggies in the middle of the winter that still hold the essence of summer. I’ve made numerous raspberry smoothies, strawberry shortcakes, rhubarb cheesecakes and Apple crisps from our harvests. And the 5 bean chili, steamed green beans and fresh cut French Fries are devine! All of this is possible with my the favorite kitchen tools: pressure canner/cooker, vacuum sealer and crockpot. Life tastes so good when it’s come from your land, your pots and your hands. Bring on the bounty of summer… I’m just getting warmed up with sliced rhubarb!
